Description
Charleston, SC French Quarter house at 143 Church St. It is a 2½ story double tenement constructed of Bermuda stone imported from the Caribbean and built by Huguenot merchant Alexander Peronneau (1709-1774), probably after the fire of 1740. It is across the street from the historic St. Phillips Church.
