Artist's Description

This mountainside image was taken near Flam, a village at the end of the Aurlandsfjord, an arm of the Sognefjord on Norway's west coast. Flam is most known for the Flam railway (Flamsbana) that runs between Flam and Myrdal on one of the steepest railway tracks in the world. It passes many cascading waterfalls and quaint villages along the way as it gains an altitude of about 850 meters (2,800 feet).
