The John Rutledge House, located at 116 Broad Street in Charleston, South Carolina was completed in 1763. John Rutledge was a governor of South Carolina and a signer of the U.S. Constitution. In 1989 the home was reopened and has operated as an inn since then. It is designated as a National Historic Landmark.
